Is The Road To Perdition Film Noire

Is The Road To Perdition a film noire or is it something else? I strongly believe that it is film noire and the reason why is that the movie is very dark throughout the movie like in scenes when people were getting shot or murdered. Especially when Michael saw his father and Connor Rooney kill three men that were accused of stealing from the boss or the head of the family John Rooney. Most of the time the people died during the night and throughout the movie they mainly shot when it was raining or dark.
I also believe that it is film noire is that all the adult men are wearing fedoras and thick overcoats that went along the length of the mans body and covered most of them so they could hide there weapons. The women wore long dresses that showed a low neckline and wore long white gloves. they also smoked a little bit in the movie not as much as in the other film noire movies.
The final reason is that throughout the whole movie you were never mislead into thinking there would be a happy ending for the 2 of them. Like when they were robbing banks they were having a good time and then the bounty hunter found them he tried to stop them from running but mike shot a glass vase in his face. They got away but not before the bounty hunter shot mike in the arm. After that Mike got sick from the wound in his arm and almost died from it.

The Differences Between Mr. Deeds and Mr. Deeds Goes To Town

The similarities of Mr. Deeds and Mr. Deeds goes to town is that deeds in the newer Mr. Deeds is a volunteer firefighter and he is very polite to the ladies in the movie and stands up for their honor. He is also looking for a women in distress to save and  fall in love with. The newspapers of New York City just wanted to make him look like an idiot and a selfish jerk that cared for himself and only himself. Then someone in both the movies were trying to get the money and control of the company because they didn't want to lose their power.
The main differences are that the people in the first movie "Mr. Deeds Goes To Town" is that they show one playing the tuba and writing good poetry and the other one just writes bad poetry and the people in the first movie they all are smart while in the remake they are all kind of hillbillyish in a way. The uncle dies differently too, in the first movie he dies in a car crash while the remake shows that he died while climbing a mountain during a blizzard and freezes to death. Also one more thing in the first movie Mr. Deeds goes to court for the loss of his money while in the remake Mr. Deeds signs it away because he didn't want it because it reminded him of Pam Dawson.
In my personal opinion I think that both movies are great but if I had to choose I would choose the Adam Sandler remake because it told you more of his uncle and what kind of man he was. I also think that putting Babe Bennett in a news area instead of a newspaper company was a good change to show that it was caught up to our time.
